KRAUSE Komposttechnik model KFS series are professional compost turner for 3-point hitching to an agricultural tractor.
The KFS series is of robust construction with heavy duty transmission and hydraulic components.
The tunnel and rotor assembly is lifted by a hydraulic cylinder into transport position.
The 720 mm Ø OPTIMIX rotor is equipped with wear-resistant steel interchangeable tools. The arrangement of the tools allows an integration of the edges of the pile ensuring a perfect mixing and oxygenation of the organic material to speed up the process and obtain a quality compost.
The 3-point hitch design forms a compact unit between turner and tractor, reducing operating space at the head of the plant.
Thick rubber skirts protect the operating environment from material thrown by the rotor. A hydraulic tailgate serves to channel the material at the start of the turning process, thus preventing material from being thrown backwards and reducing the space required for the forward/backward movement of the compost piles.
