ZAGO, based in Campo San Martino (PD), is a family-owned company dedicated to the design, production and sale of livestock feed mixers used with Unifeed/TMR technology, biogas substrate mixers, and equipment for environmental applicaction in organic residue treatment, composting, and biomass for renewable energy for biogas and biomass plants.

The FREE FLOW MIX® system, with its unique 2+2 auger action, ensures continuous movement of the ingredients within the mixing hopper. This significantly reduces processing time and eliminates any compaction points in the mix.
The perfect synergy of the lower mixing and chopping augers with the upper mixing augers ensures maximum feed ration uniformity. The system is designed to maximise hopper utilisation. The horizontal auger system mixes full or partial loads perfectly.

The DUO MIX” system is based on two opposed, counter-rotating augers with a central counter-blade. The front and rear augers transport the ingredients to the centre of the mixing hopper where the streams converge, are mixed and pushed upwards. The mixture is then discharged in a continuous flow towards the ends of the mixing hopper and the mixing cycle is repeated.
The DUO MIX system ensures efficient cutting and mixing to produce a homogeneous Total Mixed Ration (TMR) in a short time.

ZAGO Unifeed AVM TMR series mixers are equipped with the “Tornado” vertical mixing auger. The vertical mixing system is characterised by the movement of one or more vertical augers with a constant spiral pitch. A series of crescent-shaped blades with a progressive profile are mounted at the ends of the augers. Thanks to the special shape of the ZAGO “Tornado” vertical auger, the product is pushed upwards, creating a continuous tornado-like flow along the walls of the hopper. The advantages of “vertical mixing” are improved cutting and a significant reduction in feed compaction compared to traditional systems manufactured in the 1980s.
